OUR STORY

EMS Industrial Control Panels is a division of ENCON Evaporators, an industrial equipment manufacturer of process and wastewater evaporation systems.  EMS stands for ENCON Manufacturing Services.  As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), we are hyper-focused on controlling our costs and designing a manufacturable product that can be repeatedly built to our high quality standard.  To control quality and reduce lead times of our own products, we set up a dedicated UL508A panel shop.  The shop has been such a success for our own product quality and timely delivery of systems, that we set out to offer these services to other OEM's and facilities requiring panel building services.  We look forward to speaking with you about your unique challenges and collaborating on a solution together.

WHAT IS UL508A?

  • UL508A is the Standard for Safety for Industrial Control Panels. UL508A covers industrial control panels 1000 volts or less for installation in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electric Code (NFPA 70).
  • Being certified as a UL508A panel shop, we have the ability to design and build custom panels to the standard and provide our customer with panels that are marked with UL's approval. This marking gives your customers and your employees the confidence that the panel they are using has been designed and built to the necessary standard to keep them safe.
